Welcome
Rawson D-Day: Phoenix Paintball - Rawson, Victoria
Once again the Selous Scouts took the pilgrimage to Phoenix Paintball in Rawson, Victoria for one of the best scenarios in Australia (Ok, I’m going to make a call here it was the best ever!)
This year was bigger than ever with more explosions then you poke a stick at! Extreme fun was had by all who attended.
This year with the weather in an acceptable range in the high teens - low 20's the Allies made the Push and dominated over the Axis forces to successfully take the ridge. Hitler wasn't too happy about this though and chucked a tantrum (Watch it here)
Unfortunately we did have to say goodbye to one of Paintball's most beloved figures over the weekend, Cindy who was posing as Loosecinda was shot in the head and was KIA. She was a much loved member of the community and her loss has been felt all over the world.
Other than that it was a fantastic weekend. Thanks heaps to Bushy, Sarah and the whole team at Phoenix Paintball. The always go above and beyond to make sure that a great time is had buy all that attend. Can't wait for next year, bring it on!
